1st: Not sure if this is the right place but its today with bios so I put it here.

2nd: Sorry its me again please don't hit me lol.

My mobo is z77x-ud3h.

Any way yesterday I was very board so I decided to format my PC. I formatted my PC and when that was done I re started and went into bios. I set everything to default in the bios and changed only one thing which was Marvell ATA Controller Configuration. Default is ACHI but I was board and wanted to experiment so I changed it to Raid. I left Sata mode selection to ACHI. I then saved the bios and restarted and installed windows 7 64bit home onto my sandisk ssd. It installed as normal but I noticed an improvement in my mouse as be for no matter what I had I had acceleration and slow down when I moved but now that's ok. I then put all updates which takes ages as formatting installing windows only takes 15 mins but installing updates can take 3 hour greee. I then set up bios general settings xmp and other little things like that. I have also noticed that it loads up a lot faster and games are smoother. Should I try and set up raid for the sata mode as well?.

First of all, why is your SSD plugged into the marvell controller ? The speed you get our of the z77 SATA 3 interface is far superior.

RAID shouldn't affect your performance, unless you are running RAID. Maybe you had some interfering software before, which got removed with the windows re-install.
