raid array not running help

Bit of a problem with my RAID in Unbuntu 10.10 hoping some one can help.

Created it through Admin > Disk Utility got it all setup and formatted, copied some stuff over and then had to reboot.

Now it is showing in Disk Utility as RAID Array is not running and under state Not running, partially assembled.

So how do I get this working again?

Do lsmod and post the output.

Ok I have got a bit further, if I stop and then start the array in Disk Utility I can then mount the array and all is ok.

What I can not work out is how to auto mount the array and make it all work from boot

You need the correct modules loaded to give you the virtual raid device in /dev. Then you need the right entry in your fstab file.

These are things that the disk utility may handle. Can you answer my question on a fresh boot. Maybe again after pushing the array into life.

Then do 'mount' and post the output, then show us your fstab.

would a cat /proc/mdstat be handy here as well ?
