Raid partition recovery?

I just lost all my partitions on one of my raid0 arrays due to the latest Ubuntu live cd, it's just showing as unpartitioned space now, what are the possibilities of recovering the partitions without me needing to re-install everything?

Data is 99% backed up so it's not an issue if I do need to re-install, I'd just rather avoid it if at all possible.

Darn ubuntu, I should have left it well alone after it ate the array last time, it seems to like munching on adaptec raid setups

so as far as you know, it's just the parition tables that've been removed..? (ie no data written to drives?)


if so, then download parted magic live boot cd, and from the tools in there, load up testdisk it'll scan the raid and re-create the partitions for you

Yeh, all I did was attempt to boot the latest Ubuntu live cd so as far as I am aware it shouldn't have written anything to the drives at all.

Had to use it from inside windows for it to pick up the array but it worked a treat, thanks again Bledd.
