RAIDMAX AC1204 tower cooler

Forum rules of conduct say we cannot post links to other sales sites. So even if we know of some place selling Raidmax AC1204 we couldn't post it.

I took a look at their website and notice their contact heatpipes protrude well below cooler base. My experience is this design does not work as well as direct contact heatpipes being flush with base. But would need one of these coolers to test before I will say that's true.

What is it you like about it? I ask because there are many similar ARGB 4x heatpipe 120mm fan coolers. Below are links to a few on OcUK:

OcUK sells Jonsbo CR-1000 black, but Johsbon website has a white version.

Hi @doyll, thanks for your detailed answer!

I am searching for an ARGB tower cooler that has decent TDP rating (potentially getting 5000 Ryzen 9), but if there isn't one I will just stick with aluminium tower and ARGB fan.
I liked that this one has white chassis and potentially fits height-wise. Getting a white NR200P, which allows 155mm +/- tolerances, obviously would need to try. Zalman is much bigger in that sense, I have gone through all the OcUK tower coolers and couldn't find alternatives :)

My fallback options are Cryorig H7 Quad or Arctic e34 white.

Arctic freezer 50 should be out soon if not already.

originally was designed for the thread ripper processors so it's easily capable of cooling any Ryzen cpu

might want to check clearances though, its 166mm
the cooler height limitations in the case you want are an issue, perhaps something like the alpenfohn black ridge would be good if you paired it with a 120mm rgb fan. alpenfohn also make some nice rgb fans.

looking at some builds in the case you want, people have managed to fit a scythe fuma 2 in so that would be my suggestion and just add some rgb fans later.

Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB Plus (134x157.5x136mm) and SCMG-5100TUF Mugen 5 TUF(130x157.5x110mm) are ARGB are better cooling, but are more expensive. With spec height of 157.5mm tall with case saying 155mm I would measure from motherboard mounting panel to case and subtract 7mm to know exactly how much CPU clearance case has. Most of the time they are a couple mm more than spec. ;)

ID-Cooling SE224-XT White is £29.99 elsewhere on web. Google "id-cooling se-224-xt" and it will probably show up.

Deepcool Neptwin White has LED fans and cools well, but might be too tall at 126x134x158mm (WxDxH)

Scythe Fuma and Mugen both seem very good, but yeah I was concerned about tolerances. I guess I will wait until the case arrives and try to measure more accurately for that specific build. If these fit I might just slap some ARGB fans on them that will also match case fans.

Freezer 50 seems will be too tall unfortunately.

Black Ridge has very low TDP, maybe with additional 120mm it would do better, but I think with 155mm clearance I would better get a tower cooler.
