Im just playing through Rainbow 6 for the 360 and I didnt know advertising was on the game, like im on the first level (still) and Ive seen a poster for that new film Shoot 'em up. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yep I've noticed it, think it was on multiplayer in Calypso Casino where I saw the poster for Shoot'Em Up.

also just playing thsi through for the first time but very dissapointed so far,

maybe i was expecting too much after playing rogue soear on pc so many years ago but this just feels arcadey and there is not enough importance on tactics so far

Nah i think its top! Im glad i got it again because i didnt give it a chance first time round!

I never even bothered with SP, just went straight into MP and never looked back. Probably the most enjoyable online shooter on the 360 imo.

the lag for me in Mp is awful and makes it unplayable also get kicked out after 10 minutes everytime as well which is a shame cause it does seem fun

I finished it and loved every second. Gets much better once you get into the first casino btw. Never played rogue spear, but I found tactics important in the room breaching bits.

the originals were pure tactics where you had 2 squads of 4 and had loads of options available to you, not enough control on the cnosole for it to work i guess

The console market destroyed the rainbow games, still there not bad as a FPS but noting at all like they used to be.

I don't think it was consoles, it's difficult to keep up with being original once you've been there and done it so to say.

Rainbow Six (1) was by far the best of the bunch in my opinion with a huge range of options. Rainbow Six: Vegas is probably the second best one and that was best on Xbox360 (I wasn't a fan on PC, like many people). Rogue Spear was pretty good, probably 3rd best.

i thought vegas was a great game. the advertising wasn't too bad...i only really noticed the giant "axe" adverts that was around when flying in the 'copter. Otherwise the adverts add a bit of realism the game.

Even though i loved the old R6s (especially raven shield) for their tactical prowess, i loved R6V for different reasons, like the intense action online. No reason to get pent up on 'oh its not the same as it used to be'. Its a different game, Look at it in its own light.

Waiting for this game from an online seller who has it at a good price but I have heard that unless you have a good rating you get kicked from most multiplayer games? Is this correct? Am I going to hate the MP due to this?

Not in my experience, a lot of high rankers are now creating now profiles with no rank, so no one is entirely sure who is a low rank anyway

More likely you will get booted for no headset or bad ping
