Rainbow Six Siege - Player base, still worth it?

Hi all,

Currently tempted to nab Rainbow Six Siege but i'm not sure which platform to go for.

Main concern is the current player bases. It's easy enough to check how it does on Steam, but is there any way of finding current numbers for the console versions?

My general rule of thumb was to focus multiplayer titles on the XB1 but i'm not sure that's wise if there are more PS4 players for this one.

Thoughts?

Nevermind, went for PS4 version because it was cheaper. lol

We have a few who play the hell out of it on ps4. I enjoy it too and also play it when we're not on Overwatch. Add D-i-d-d-u-m-S if you want.

Some of the guys are wanting to play right now as it happens, but it's an early one for me.

Prob be playing more so in August when I start a night shift rotation.
