Rainbow six siege

One of the few 'popular' games out there that I've never tried.

is it good? Hard to get into?
Used to play it when it first released - it was a pretty decent game back then, I've only loosely followed it since then, and it seems to have fallen foul CoD style - getting quite gimmick-y with skins and whatnot (not the sort of thing I personally enjoy).

Only negative from the year or so I played it, was unlocking the new 'seasonal' operators needed a massive amount of points - way above what a casual player (with things to do IRL) could put into the game; I don't recall if you could pay real money for them - probably could.

This is really a game that needs teamwork and is probably best to at least be on chat with your team or with people you know. However, there is always toxic players knocking about on here so don't be surprised when you come across them!

It's A steep learning curve but it is a game that me and my friends keep returning to time and time again. Worth giving a go! Very different to the usual shooters, so give the eSports people a watch for some inspiration and ideas. :)

It's an excellent game. As mentioned above it does have a steep learning curve but there is a playlist for new players. You really do need to play with friends as random team mates can be annoying sometimes.
