Out of curiosity what settings do you guys play at on what spec rigs?

I can only play 1024x786 with medium settings to get a consistent 50fps+ (measured using Fraps), soon as i put the settings on high it drops to about 30 or below when in a fire fight.
surely this cant be right? :S

2x AA and maxed out AF using CCC, i get 6800 or so in 3dmar06

plenty of stories around as to how badly this runs. If it helps, I seemed to think that R6 Vegas doesn't support AA due to the lighting system. Might be wrong but might be worth disabling AA.

I play at 1280x960 and get around 45-50 fps with everything else set on full. It does drop below this however when the screen get really busy but never unplayable.

I use an e6320 @ 3.2 ghz, 2gb PC8500 @ 1100mhz Ram and an X1950XT 256mb.

I love the game but some of the glitches contained within are a bit poo.

i cant turn AA below 2x

I love the game also but will re-visit it when I have a proper video card and the drivers improve (I'm aware the game is badly done also but new drivers won't harm it).

Can someone tell me why everything's so damn shiny in this game? I've experimented with lighting etc but the bloom is just horrific. Nothing looks like that in real life. Everything seems to have a spiritual aura of light radiating from it; ridiculous.

i found it you put the brightness in the options to 4 it is ok

Used to have only an X1950Pro 512 and this ran very smoothly around the 30FPS. Now have an 8800GTX and it jerks a little even with the 1.05 patch!!
