In game :o

kinda puts GR:AW to shame

Personally, I really hope they sort the AI (and some other niggling gameplay aspects) out for the next R6 game, rather than trying to blind us with flashy graphics. I've played Lockdown a bit on the Xbox, and while it's fairly fun, the enemies can be pretty dreadful at times, and will often just stand there and look at you for ages before actually bothering to shoot you, no matter how inept you can be. Things like that bother me far more about the game than whether or not it looks "next-gen" enough imo.

I agree, although it looks fantastic unless i enjoy the game then i wouldn't buy it. But those shots are supposidly in game, along with GRAW and the shots of new splinter cell, Ubisoft seem to be in poll position in terms of next gen graphics!

Ooh very nice, looks good but i'm hoping it plays more like Raven Shield than Lockdown. I know Lockdown is console based, so has to change it controls etc to suit, but RS just felt and played better. Will keep an eye on it though.

Oh, they're definitely impressive shots, but it just irks me that a lot of companies seem to prize putting fancier graphics on a game instead of improving how it plays, because they know more people are likely to buy it because of that.

That, and it is a Rainbow Six discussion thread too, and I just thought I'd add my feelings on how I'd like to see the sequel. :p

Couldn't have said it better myself :)
Fingers crossed they do as much work on improving AI as they seem to have with the graphics.

Superb.
Rainbow 6 was the best game on live bar none imo.
Drunken terrorist hunts and team survival games until the early hours were magic.
