Hi, looking at a lot of desktops in desktop thread i see a lot of people using rainmeter. ive just started using it and got big clock and system info but i cant find anything for cpu/gpu temps
is there any plugin for this?
rather than make a new thread i thought id post in here.
Got rainmeter and id like cpu/gpu monitoring without another program running in the background like speedfan or rivtuner/msiafterburner.
Is it possible?
Realtemp 3.0 seems to have both cpu/gpu monitoring but i cant seem to find any plugin/skin for rainmeter, and im guessing i will have to have it running in the background anyway ?
EDIT: nevermind i actually went for speedfan without any rainmeter skins. I like it
I use Open Hardware Monitor with rainmeter. Very easy to pull cpu/gpu and other info from it. There are a few plug-ins for it but I've butchered them into something that works for me.
As I answered in a similar thread. I use a customised Enigma theme running a Coretemp plugin.
For GPU I use Afterburner + Plugin.
Themes/skins are very easy to edit if you are willing to spend an hour or so backwards engineering existing stuff. I spent a while hacking up a Winamp plugin so I could do much more with it (Open playlist, change volume, search for tracks, change shuffle toggle etc) Created my own icons to perfectly integrate with the original also. It's very rewarding when it all comes together and works
This is mine:
CPU graphs at the bottom cover all 4 cores with % usage and Temp overlayed.
