greetings all

what do you guys and gals use to raise the height of your monitor? currently using two catalogues (argos if your curious!).I was wondering if there was something more elegant that you could buy or should i just get a block of wood and paint it black.
Your thoughts please

Google Ergotron. Be prepared to have your wallet raped though. Or alternatively you could find a mate who can weld to knock up one for cheap.

I also use some Argos Catalogues!

I can't find anything other than a wall-mount for a reasonable price tbh :(

All our monitors at work have Ergotron Neo-Flex desk stands - much more comfortable than the OE monitor stands. Popular with some of our customers as well as they look pretty good.

They are around £40 via some OCuk competitors.

thanks for reply guys. Some of those ergotron things look bloody lovely but apart from the neo flex stand are a bit too expensive especially considering its not work related unless you count p*wrn as work ;-) I might actually get a cheaper chair and get the neo flex.
In the meantime I think i will see If i can dig out an old next directory catalogue. thanks to ALL who replied.

what I did was trace the monitor footprint onto some 12mm mdf, cut two of them out, then used a broom handle, cut down to length required and made four posts that sandwich between both footprint pieces, screwed together and a bit of paint and voila 1 cheapo stand lol. Was quite handy for me and also handy to use as storage underneath:)

Previous to that I used the super cheapo effort, 2 reams of paper:D
