RAM advice neededif possible please

Hi all. I am looking to upgrade my pc that was built around 3 years ago. I use it mainly for gaming and some dvd ripping etc... My current rig is what is in my sig. At the mo, I am looking to get either a 5770 or a 5850 (is there much difference?) and some better RAM.

Now my question is, would I notice any advantages if I was to buy better ram? I currently have the Geil PC2 - 6400 800mhz Ultra Low Latency(4 * 1gig). Can my board accept 1066mhz or faster and if so, will it make any difference?

I've got the same motherboard and have 2Gb OCZ 1066 Mhz ram working fine with it.

The ram will only make a difference if you run at a high fsb when overclocking. The 1066mhz will allow a higher overclock if your limited by the ram otherwise you won't notice much difference.
