Ram advice

Building up a rig...
At the moment I have got an Asus P5Q-E and an INTEL CORE 2 DUO E8400 cpu... I was eyeing up the Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel...is this a good choice....
Will CORSAIR 4GB 2x2GB XMS2 PC8500 DDR2 1066 TWIN RAM MEMORY be compatible on the MB? or is there anything special that need to sit in an Asus Board?

Both sets are good, got a set of the 6400 running in my media center with the Asus board without any problems.

According to ASUS, your motherboard is compatible with PC2-8500 (1066Mhz)

I have same board - runs 8Gb of GSkill PC2-8000 just fine. Both those sets will be ok.
