Can someone spec me some Ram and a CPU for this Mobo please?

The parts you have chosen are fine though no overclocking unless you get k version.

Guaranteed memory support you need to check the qvl list for the motherboard.

Return the mobo and get z490 if you can

If not. 9700k and ram looks good

It's a 9700 and that wont work on a z490 motherboard

looks like OP hasnt got CPU or ram yet.

iif they have just purchased z390 and able to exchange for z490 etc

I actually dont have anything yet

It's for someone else and they want an Intel PC not AMD.

If they have got z390 and able to swap it for z490.. would get on it like a heart beat . Then 10th gen Intel over 9th.

What did you grab mate ?

Z390 and 9th Gen Intel really should have dropped pricing. Specially when 10th gen and Ryzen all have hyper threading etc

I went with the z490 and a 10th gen I7 with 32 Gigs 3200Mhz Ram plus I got her ( my Daughter)a 750D case too same as my case.
I know a few will say i should have gone with an AMD build but she likes Intel , she wouldnt even use my XFX 290x a few years back....cos its AMD....she is on the Spectrum so for her things have to be just so.

Son is turning 5 tomorrow and is on the spectrum . Very minor but loves RGB but hates the sound from a loud pc ... So had silent wings installed . New Aorus RTX 3*** wouldn't go down well due to losing its RGB fans

And snap shots when it's done !

Yeah I remember those days, shes 19 now and starts at the BIMM Institute very soon as she wants to be a drummer, but in lots of ways she only 14 , but she was born with a high intellect, although lol she updates nothing I have to go and check all that here and there lol.
