ram and processor functions?

hey all am i right in saying that

processors are the items that do the computing so all the work and the ram is something that stores the data for the processor to process?

if not can some one correct me?

so if i wanted to be doing 1000 things at once id need more CPU then RAM?

i just do a lot off things at once to be honest i can be playing a game building a website surfing the net and spreadsheet work all at once
