Ram and video card questions

HI, just clarifying a few things before i start buying the intergral components for my chirstmas build

1. what is the performance difference between pc 6400 and pc 8500 RAM, basicly, is it worth £15 quid between two our gig kits

2. whats the performance difference between RAM at 5-5-5-15 and 4-4-4-12, again, is it massive, is it noticable.

2. whats the performance difference between a 512mb 4850 and a 1gig 4870, is it worth £65, this is the difference when playing graphic intensive games on a quad core woth 4 gig of ram btw

1. PC-6400 run @ 800Mhz, PC-8500 run @ 1066Mhz
2. More tighter timming the faster the ram run.
3. Some say more ram gfx run quicker but its just in theory. More ram on gfx will help some graphic sofware run quicker (CAD, photo or video edit software)

3. Its slightly beneficial if your using large chunks of memory, however the larger memory would benefit the 4870 more than the 4850.
