RAM.. any real difference between brands?

Was looking at the Corsair 2x2gig PC2-6400 here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB) because it's the cheapest 4gig kit on ocuk.

Any reason not to buy this?

Or rather, why would I want something more expensive?

Nope they're all very similar and usually use the same chips and PCBs.

I prefer OCZ as I've had no problems with RMAs with them previously but Corsair are excellent too.

Was looking at the OCZ, but noticed they take a little more voltage, and concluded that the Corsair might be better in my low airflow system.

Not that 0.3 volts is going to make any real world difference at all, but hey!

i have had the 2gb version of that kit in mine for the last 2 years with no problems what so ever, very good quality ram.

That kit has quite loose timings and probably won't OC very well...

On the other hand if you just want 4GB and aren't to bothered about mem bandwidth or OCing then its fine, think they come with corsairs lifetime warranty as well.

They clock pretty well iirc, the OCZ PC6400 does. Most use the Powerchip ICs which hit above 1000Mhz at 5-5-5.
