Hi 8 pack :)

As your probably going to get asked a thousand times how to tune and oc memory is it possible you could just post up a small guide detailing how you tune and test, in what order etc...

Like find lowest value with x timing, test the move on to this timing etc..? I understand it's a potential nightmare with so many chips, chipsets and dimms on the market, but wouldn't the bulk of the options be the same/similar over all modern chipsets/dimms? I know from some of your previous posts different ic's like different timings, I hope this wouldn't cause issue :)

I ask as I would rather learn about the deeper side of memory tuning (as others perhaps would) rather than say "I have this memory, tell me what to input" :D

Cheers, just something rough with how to start, what to look for, best ways to test etc... hopefully figure out any specifics along the way :D

No rush btw I won't be up and benching for another 4-6 weeks anyhow :)

Sweet cheers mate :)

While I remember, I don't suppose you want a dimastech 2.5 bench table (free obviously). Will be surplus to requirements once I'm in my new case and taking up room for baby stuff so would rather see it go to its intended use :)

Yep and it all adds to 3dMark scores too :D

I'll probably be buying new memory along side IB-E anyhow, I'd just like to see what I can push out of my current kit and know that in some way I had found the best values on my own, especially as C11 is the best I've managed with basic settings thus far (something 8 Pack managed on 2800mhz!!) so I'd like C10 minimum :D

I was looking around that speed for my dimms, but even the 2133mhz XMP's at C11, so we'll see how I get on getting to grips with the other 20 or so timings I've left on auto before I ditch them :D
