I am using two sticks 512MB PC2700 Twinmos ram and was wondering if I can mix any other brand of ram together with that? I'm sure I tried it a few years ago and it wouldn't load up - the rams both worked fine individually but not together, the system just wouldn't load up Windows. (it may have been Windows 98 if that makes a difference)
Everyone I speak to though seems to think it won't be a problem, but I want some more clarification.
