Basically, I'm running Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) at stock voltages...It's 4-4-4-12 @2.1.
It looks like OCUK only stock the CAS5 version of this RAM in a 4GB kit, but I want CAS4, obviously. My question in two-fold:
Are Corsair RAM sticks good enough to run at 4-4-4-12, even though they're only certified to run at 5-5-5-15?
Perhaps I should buy another 2x2GB kit. I was thinking OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Reaper HPC Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPR800C44GK) I know it's only 4-4-4-15, but the because the voltage is about the same as the Corsair, I should be able to get it to run in Dual-channel...I'm trying to get 6GB of ram here.
