Heya fellas, didn't wanna hijack that other guys thread! Basically, I'm upgrading my system shortly and am looking to get 2GB of decent, quick memory. I have about £150 to spend and am currently looking at the following:

G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GSkill_Memory.html#aMY_2d007_2dGS

or

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Corsair_XMS_Memory.html#aMY_2d079_2dCS

I use my PC mainly for browsing, music, watching DVD's, designing websites/graphics in Adobe Photoshop 7 and a lot of CS:S gaming and other various FPS games..

I was just wondering what you think the best RAM there is available in my moderate price range?

Would this RAM http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GSkill_Memory.html#aMY_2d008_2dGS run at ddr500 hundred speeds on my asus a8n-sli even tho it only supports pc3200/drr400.

Cheers in advance.

EDIT* Here are my specs btwl

CPU: AMD 64 Winchester 3200 @ 2.42Ghz ~ Arctic Cooling Freezer 64
Mobo: Asus A8N-SLi
Graphics: PNY 128MB 6600GT
Memory: Corsair VS 1GIG CL3
Upgrade to: G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200
HDD: Hitachi 250GB SATA
Case: Antec Sonata + 380 TruPower PSU
Upgrade to: Hiper 580W Type-R and Antec Super Lanboy

The best solution would probably be to go for the Gskill ZX and run it at tight timings (2-3-2-6) at near 200Mhz with a memory divider, allowing you to push the HTT up.

Cheers mate.

Im not to sure about how to setup a divider, because i would like to run the 3200 at 2.2Ghz but not OC the memory..any advice? thanks.

2.2 on the 3200 is 220x10, the RAM will probably run 220Mhz with a slight voltage boost and no divider. Or you could use the 180Mhz divider to drop the RAM speed (180/200 = 9/10 divider) which would have your memory at 198mhz, which is perfect to keep the memory at stock).
