All previous OC info can be found in my sig and this topic http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17997348

But I'm having an issue where my pc freezes up but picture remains on screen and sound is on a continual loop.

I've altered my FSB up to 400 to give a cpu clock speed of 3.4Ghz but not touched my settings for the ram (currently sitting at a frequency of 640Mhz) which in my mind is a little on the high side?

I've gone into the Intelligent Tweaker and found that the

system memory multiplier (spd) is set to auto which gives the

memory frequency as 1066 1280

Now that to me implies its running faster than it should be?

while over the 'auto' setting at the right hand side of the bios is reads options

X.XXA -> FSB 266Mhz
X.XXB -> FSB 333Mhz
X.XXC -> FSB 200Mhz
X.XXD -> FSB 400Mhz

and I can then choose settings of 2, 2.66, 3.33, 4 A,B,C or D

I dont want to just pick a figure at random and screw up my pc. So I'm looking for advice of 1. is this the section I should be changing to alter my ram divider and 2. where should I start!

Ok just ran a prime95 test and noticed after 9 mins a fatal error on worker 1.

FATAL ERROR : Resulting sum was 8.717025756870287e+031, expected 8.717025756869692e+031

Does that make any sense to anyone? :confused:

This topic can be deleted. Took the plunge and altered the setting to 2.66D and the ram frequency changed to 1066. ran a stress test and had no problems whatsoever. 3.6Ghz is my next challenge :D
