been playing with my corsair 2gb pc2-6400c4d when overclocking i usally set it to unlinked and set it to 800mhz @2.0 volt's running 4 4 4 12 t2 (FSB
RAM 5.3 or something) setting's. when running 06 it give worse score than stock.setting it to linked and at 668mhz with 4 4 4 12 19 1t (FSBRAM 1.1) give me a better 06 figure's.was wondering why is this?
i assume going to 1425 fsb will give my 800mhz but the fsd:dram will be like 12/15?.
as you noticed am not very clued up with memory setting's. bear in mind all i have changed is mem timing's and setting pci to 100 instead of auto.previosuly my 06 fiqure never rose above over 10764 no matter how much i tried to overclock cpu.
setting mem to 1.1 and window worn't boot.has anyone with 680i mangaed to get 1.1 fsb:dram running at 800mhz?
