Ram Fan Cooling

Hello, id appreciate any feedback.

I have Corsair Fan Ram Cooling on but one of the fans is making a right noise, so I thought id replace the the whole unit etc etc but does ram cooling make much of a difference? Is it needed?

My case is quieter without lol

It's not needed.

99.99% of PC's don't have RAM cooling and work just fine.

Ram doesn't need cooling, they won't have any problems running hot.

The RAM that 99.99% of us use doesn't run hot.

Just warm.

Not needed, i bought an ocz reaper triple channel kit, very tall heatspreaders. The timings on it are great, 7-7-7-24. But the tall heat spreaders are more of a hindrance.

I think its not necessary to have a fan for RAM..

I have dominator GT's, they came with fans, I don't use them.

Same here, had Dominator GTs in my old build, but one of the fans was making strange loud noises, so I took the cooler out. Turns out it was the loudest thing in the PC...
