Ram Fan .... worth it?

Assume you have DDR3 which does not run very hot unless its pushing high MHZ like those 3000mhz kits but then again they sell them without fans so I would guess they are ok without.

Nothing new there as Corsair did this back with DDR2 which was hotter, cannot remember fi they did it for DDR.

No. Although it does look nice.

The only practical purpose is serves is to look pretty. Unless you are running some ridiculous memory overclock, or have removed the heatsinks from high frequency memory.

Though to be honest, either of those would probably be fine without a dedicated fan anyway.

Totally agree however it does look rather sweet!!!

will be running 2400 plus OC but I have never had an issue with heat dispersal in the past. might get it purely for aesthetics.

My beasts get very hot over 1.75v, though the heatsink on them is pathetic. So agree with nick, not needed for the majority of users, even then it's not very practical.

£60 is stupidly expensive for what it is.

That does look pretty cool I have to admit, but honestly I don't think it's not worth the money. Spend that extra money on another part of your system, as you'll get more benefit from it than buying this.
