Upgrading to a 3700x at xmas and looking to source some RAM. Not overclocked in the past really and all I do is game with the occasional film watching (1440p). Any tips on what RAM I should purchase this coming black friday?

The 8pack stuff is amazing, on BF deal of 104.99 but it's just epic. If you don't want to spend that much I'm not sure though.

8 Pack stuff otherwise the crucial micron e-die which OcUk also sells or Teamgroup TUF memory.

I've used the Patriot Viper 4400 CL19 (Samsung B-Die) which you can get around the £90-100 mark for 16GB. I got that just in case I upped the processor at some point.

There's a topic on it here

I've got mine around CL16 at 3800Mhz (and the IF set to 1900) and it seems very solid. Running at 1.37v as well so room to expand (Ryzen Memory Calculator recommends 1.4v).

I'd definitely recommend the RAM.
