Hi all,

I've ordered my i5 750 & Asus Maximus III Formula with this RAM:

I was tempted by the dominator, but i have a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 and was worried it would clash with high profile RAM.

I'm planning to overclock to 4Ghz or above. Will this do the job? Is there better makes? I'm a bit out of touch on Geil or G.Skill etc. Corsair has done me fine in the past.

All thoughts/suggestions welcome.

Cheers!

Well it will certainly get you to 4Ghz, at 200BLK your RAM will be running at 1600Mhz. Any furthur depends on how well your ram overclocks really.

I went for Geil 2133mhz on my build spec. And they're £85, and 500mhz faster, but I'm no expert with ram, so I couldn't tell you if they are good for overclocking.

On topic. I have a Gigabyte P55M-UD2 and I5. I have 8GB of XMS 3 DHX, it's listed as 1600 but had issues so running at 1033 at stock voltages, computer is very stable but wonder if I should have saved money with somthing else.
