Hi !

I would like to change my 6 years old computer ^^.
So I made a new build on OcUk.
Here you get my basket :

However I didn't succeed to find any RAM matching to the mobo according to the memory support list provided by the manufacturer website.

Could you help me choosing the RAM ? Or isn't there any RAM for this mobo on OcUk ?
I would like to have 4 Gb 1333 or 1600 MHz Dual Channel RAM, between 30-60 pounds.

And feel free to comment my build if I did any errors doing it or if you have any suggestions.

Regards.

Don't worry about it too much most memory works fine on most boards without it being approved. It just means its been tested by the manufacturer.

Out of interest why have you chosen the i5-2400?

Since this chip cannot overclock you will be fine with the cooler it comes with co can ditch the coolermaster if you want. These chips run very cool.

A friend recommend me the Western Digital manufacturer, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a Caviar Black, so I choose a Caviar Blue. I already have an external 750 Gb Western Digital, so 320 Gb it is enough for me.

But!!! you spending more, for less room and speed!!! its not rocket science.

I was thinking about getting an i5 760, but then the Sandybridge architecture came out. So I took a look at different tests and it revealed that the i5 2400 is better than the first one and cheaper as well. So the choice wasn't very difficult to make.

Thanks all for your replies.

I didn't know that this one was better than a caviar blue before you told it to me few minutes ago ;)
And why is it better than a caviar blue ? Do you just dislike Western Digital ? I mean regarding the speed.

Sorry for any stupid questions, I don't have a lot of knowledge in hardware. :)
