Hi Im getting my new rig in a few days and intend to stray into the dark realms of overcloking for the first time. I had it all planned out with the G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NR PC2-6400 then had a look at this forum. Suppose its quite lucky considering the fact that this ram doesnt actualy work with the Giganyte DS3 motherboard!
I cant really spend any more than £135 on the ram so I was considering going for the next model down the G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5400. Now (remember I've never actualy overclocked before) apprently when overcloking the cpu you want to keep the speed on the ram synchronous so to what ghz rating could i push the E6300 before loosing synchorinization with the RAM?
