I hope these questions aren't as ridiculous as I think they are.. :o

1) Currently I have and A8N-SLI coupled with a 7900GT. I wouldn't mind trying out the X1900 but will the nForce chipset cause any conflicts?

2) I have 1GB (2 x 512) of Corsair XL (the sticks with low latency and lots of LEDs). Obviously I'd like to uprade to 2 x 1GB. The cheaper Corsair sets have higher latencies - how will this compare to 1GB with low latencies?

The X1900XT will work fine with an Nvidia chipset, pairing a 7900gt and X1900XT however on the same board may give you issues as to which is the dominant card but I suppose in theory at least you could have two cards on the same board but I wouldn't advise it.

The impact of having an extra gb of Ram to play with should easily offset the benefits of not having lower latencies any more.

Thanks for answering my questions. I intend to swap out the 7800GT in favour of an X1900 though I may wait for news on the G80 first.

Definitly going to order 2 GB of RAM though!

G80 will still be quite a way off.

As for Questions: as stated above. No problems running an Nvidia (Nforce) mobo & ATI graphics.

2gig ram should be beneficial over 1 gig (even with lower latency)
