Hey TwistNut, nope, you wouldn't see any kind of performance increase from the OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 800MHz SLI-Ready Edition as opposed to the OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2. It's just a marketing strategy to make you think it's better because that particular memory is SLI ready.

SLI (Scalable Link Interface) is basically what you call when you have 2 Nvidia Graphics cards in one system working in conjunction with one another.

You should be able to click the "Edit" button and then you will be able to modify your post. :)

Hey TwistNut, as regards to the graphics card, it would all depend on your budget and what kind of resolution you currently play games at?

Moving onto the CPU cooler, in all honesty, if you are not looking to overclock your machine then the stock cooler will be more then efficient. If you are looking to overclock in the future then take a look at either the Zalman CNPS9700-LED CPU Cooler or the Tuniq Tower 120 . Both excellent aftermart CPU coolers.

Thank you for editing out the link as well. :)

Hey TwistNut, if you are looking at playing games on a 22inch screen and will also be wanting all of the eye candy, then have a look at the PNY GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express).

If you will be sticking with your 19 inch screen then this card will be perfectly fine.

You're processor and motherboard are absolutely fine. However, you could have bought an Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad based setup which would have been around the same price and slightly better performance depending on your budget. :)

ok thanks but this was the one i had my eye on as i have not yet got the game this comes with it and what is this card like will this run ok in my system and give me a increase in performace?

once again thanks for all your help fire wizard

hey i was think of this ram as firned has got he said its great http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-114-CR&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=817

what do you guys think and as for the gfx card i was thinking of this one here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-051-OK&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=877

or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-043-EA&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927

i want the best card possible for 250 quid running a 22 inch screen (24 is to big i think)

Hey TwistNut, the Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit is not really needed, in a real life situation of doing office work, gamming etc, I would be very surprised if you would even be able to notice the difference between 6400 (800MHz) and 8500 (1066MHz) RAM. You would be far better of purchasing 4GB running at 800MHz as opposed to 2GB running at 1066MHz.

Now as regards to the graphics card. If you are looking at playing games on a 22inch screen at max settings then the Nvidia 8800GTX is the card to get. The price of it is phenomenal. :)
