Choice of RAM/Cost for Conroe
Well I am currently going to change my pc over the summer and since Conroe is out im thinking its time to learn about DDR2. Currently I have corsair 2gb dual chanel of pc3200 at 2-3-3-6 with a S754 3700+. This cost me £160 earlier this year and had dual channel 1gb before I upgraded also from corsair. I am thinking of the new conroe E6700 and considering these chips are meant to overclock from what is 'known' and wipe AMD's offerings what ram should I get for this? I think 2gb again since I play a lot of games. I dont really want to spend more than £180 but if I dont will I still get good ram that can be overclocked when I come to do that.....wont be straight away if the conroes are as good as these benchmarks show. I mean better than a FX-62 at a fraction of the cost
