Ram issue in vista

Hi guys, wasn't sure where I should post this so sorry if its in the wrong part.
I just installed 4GB of ram (4x1gb Geil low latency), my boot shows they're there but Vista (did a reinstallation) only shows 3gb?
By the way its vista home premium 32bit.

You need a 64bit os to see all 4 gig

indeed. however your 4gb might not be enough by the time we actually see 64bit software in 2011
