Ram just plug and play or need to adjust bios settings?

I want to overclock my 2500k. My motherboard is gigabyte z77x-ud3h

I have bought this Ram.
Corsair CMY8GX3M2A2400C11R Vengeance Pro Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2400Mhz CL11 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit - Red

Do I need to change any settings in the bios before overclocking to regards the Ram? Or just leave on auto?

Always confused me setting up Ram!

the only thing I normally enable for ram is the XMP profile which on my x58 mobo makes it run at 1600mhz instead of 1333mhz but normally just leave it as it is

The BIOS should be set to auto-detect, but you can play with the frequency if you want to.

(This will depend heavily on your motherboard OC ability for how well it can run the cards over 1600Mhz)
