Ram latency times.

Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked I can’t seem to find it.

When lowering latency times on rams is 14,17,17,17,35 ok or does it have to be even numbers or odd matching? Sounds stupid but It’s been trial and error for me so far and need a little guidance.

If it runs and passes a few runs of windows ram test the number can be anything.

Ideal max, ordered some new 8pack 3600mhz, so going to try go 14-14-14-28 1.45v if possible. The Corsair 3200mhz rgb hasn’t got much room for overclocking.

TBF Ram overclocking is point less for 90% of use cases

Going from 3200mhz to 3600 yes. Timings not really.
Depending on your choice of flavour, AMD or Intel going over 3200mhz is again point less.

What's the spec of your system.

Ryzen 3800x, 2080ti FTW3, X570 ASUS, I’m led to believe the 3rd gen chips are after 1800 IF

yer AMD dose benefit from faster ram,

but not so much on the timings

Yeah heard that 3600 is the sweet spot, here’s hoping.
