Ram Light on?

I'm trying to optimize my overclock and while doing so when the RAM was OCed somewhere above 175x5 = 875Mhz => 1750 (max stock is supposed to be 1600)
the pc started, stating only 4gb of ram, I restarted and set the ratio one step lower but there's a light on the mobo that has come on since. The ram quantity is back to 6gb now.

I'm including a picture, tried to make it as clear as possible. It's a blue led just under the 1st stick.

Anyone knows what it means?

Specs in my sig.
Ram is Corsair XMS3 C7 3x2gb

Been 2 days. System passed a 24hour of prime95 stable. Light is still on :(

no one encountered this? Tried searching google, but found nothing. Even the manual seems not to mention anything about that led.

I have the same board, that blue light has been on on my board ever since i first got it, stock speed or overclocked. Not sure either what it's purpose is tbh.

I built a computer for a friend , with this same board and his light came on 2 weeks ago, now mine. Can't help thinking it is something that will go wrong :(

I can only assume that this light being on means everything is fine with the ram, you state that it only came on once the full 6gb was detected, as ive never had problems with ram recognition, and this light has been on on my board for well over a year. This makes me think that its nothing to worry about.
