You might find that they perform about the same. If you loosen the timings of the 667MHz RAM down a bit, you might be able to reach 800MHz with it. If you are overclocking, the extra speed might give you more headroom for overclocking without having to use a divider, but if you aren't then you might as well go for the DDR667 memory.
