I recently bought a new rig and had trouble setting it up. discovered it was the motherboard "Abit IP35-E (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard" being unhappy with the Ram "(GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)" running at 2.1V, so i need to get some RAM that runs at lower voltage, probs 1.8-1.9. Any recommendations for cheap RAM that fits this requirement?

How about this? "Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)", says it runs 1.8-2.2. does this mean i can run it at 1.8 without loss of performance?

You could look at some of the G.Skill range as well, my seem to be chugging away quite nicely.

Are you wanting this ram for long term use? Or to stick in....change voltage...wack in Geil ram at set voltage?

no i want this new RAM for long term. the Geil works for a while but after about 10 mins of loading windows it always crashed, so im just gonna replace it.
