RAM & Motherboard Compatability

Hi

I know this might seem like a stupid question but i'm not 100% sure on the answer.

Would the AMD Gamer 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-14900C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AP38G1869U1K) > http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-003-AM

work with the following motherboard >

Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 AMD 760G (Socket AM3+) DDR3 MicroATX Motherboard > http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-466-AS

If anyone can help that would be appreciated as I would like to order this morning.

No reason why it wouldn't. Most DDR3 RAM will fit DDR3 boards/slots but you can always check the Vendor Approved List which should be available under the 'support' section of the manufacturer's site.

Yeah im just concerened about the RAM timings being ok with the MOBO before any overclock.

Should be fine, but you can always DSR if it doesn't work.
