RAM Newbie, Please Help.

Hey guys,

At the moment i have Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel (KHX6400D2LLK2/4G)

In my machine with the Bus Speed @ 217.

I have OCZ Gold Edition 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 Dual Channel (OCZ2G10664GK) In another machine, and thought if i swapped it would i be able to crank up the bus speed a bit more to either get a higher overclock or lower my multiplier so i don't have a nigh Vcore meaning lower temps ?

Seems like the OCZ stuff is really good memory ?

Yes, you are correct, the OCZ stuff is rated higher so will allow for higher OC

cool any idea on what i can expect to get from it ? At the moment i can't get the kingston past 217 on my board

It would be helpful if you post up some specs for your machine - which CPU, what multiplier your using and voltages etc...
