Hey, i recently had a power supply blow up and take my ram, long story short royal mail lost it in the post on RMA. i am now using a friends ram (4GB corsair vengence low profile) but in windows experence index i am only getting 5.9 . Now i know windows experence index is crap at measuring things but my friend said when he had it that it got higher than that, any ideas why it isnt preforming like before?

thanks,
jordy

You can only get scores above 5.9 if you're running more than 4GB of ram. "If your computer has a 64-bit central processing unit (CPU) and 4 gigabytes (GB) or less random access memory (RAM), then the Memory (RAM) subscore for your computer will have a maximum of 5.9."

If the ram is 1600mhz you will need to manually setup the timings and speed in the BIOS.

At th moment your running at 1320mhz, you will need CPU-Z to show 800mhz.

Thanks guys, your right the frequency was off, so i went into the bios and set it to 1600mhz, and i used to have 8GB but like i said it got rmaed then lost by royal mail :(
