Ram only functioning at 666Mhz?

Just saw this in CPU-z and was a teensy bit worried as it was the first time i'd ever put RAM in (first build)

Or is it just the m/b putting it down as it's not in use to save power usage??

It's Kingston hyperX 2*8GB(Supposedly)@1666mhz

I believe you double that
so 666x = 1333Mhz.

There may be a ram profile for 1600Mhz in the BIOS

yes you double that amount so your running at 1330.4 mhz on ur ram to if your running 1600mhz you may need to change some settings to get it too work like ram voltage and blck and some of the multipliers.

You will need to manually adjust the ram multiplier to 16x, you might need to increase the voltage a notch. I have mine at 1.55v.
