Ram or Motherboard problem?!

Hey guys,

basically I just bought 2x4gb Samsung Green to replace my 1 DIMM of 4gb ram.

I'm using a Gigabyte Z77-D3H and the ram really seems to be messing it up. My rig won't post if I use either stick in Slot 1 but works fine (right now) in Slot 4, I can't, however, use slots 4&2 for dual channel as it won't boot.

I've updated to the newest BIOS (f19b) and still no luck, any suggestions?

If you can't get into the bios then i would try and reset using the jumper on the motherboard, making sure you turn the power off first

f19g is the latest beta bios

i have no trouble with that ram on a z77x up4 th

im using 1.555v dram voltage @2133mhz and 9-11-11-21-1t timings
