Have my 7700k clocked to 5.1ghz at 1.365v. I currently have 2666mhz Corsair LPX RAM @ cas 16.
I was hoping to overclock this to 3ghz and tighten the timings, but I have no idea what I am doing. I know putting the voltage to 1.35v is the first step, then upping the speed to 3GHZ but this makes the timings go to around 19, which obviously sucks.
I can try to put the timings to 16, then overclock to 3GHz, but is this the normal way to do it? There are SO many more options in the BIOS which are on AUTO on the memory timings part, shall I change them all to stock or JUST the timings?
Shall I try 3ghz with 16 or 14 ? what other settings to change?
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
