I have a M2N-SLI Deluxe with 2GB Corsair XMS2-6400C4 TwinX Dual Cannel Kit bought from Overclockers about 3 years ago. Over the last 9 months or more I've been haveing BSODs. Have changed the Hard Drive and updated drivers etc.
I begining to think its the Ram. I did test stress once for about 4 hours or more with no errors. Should I do it for longer. I think they got lifetime warranty, would I be able to send back for testing/replaceing, if so, to whom ? Corsair or Overclockers. Don't see why I should buy new Ram if its got Lifetime Warranty.
Thanks All.

Thanks, I've downloaded the Bootable CD one for Windows. How long should I stress it for.
Last time was for about 4 to 5 hours with no errors.
Thank You RJC.

Mmmmm! I'll stress it again then for a few hours and if No Errors, do you think it could be Processor. All the Differing numbers, varying each time etc, makes me think it's Ram.
It's done me head in.
THANKS.

Bit of a late reply!

What software did you use to stress test before, also can you try the components in another system.

memtest86 is what I used last time. Just found the CD-R. Sorry for being late in answering.
Here are 3 images taken of CPU-Z. Please let me know if you see something wrong in it.
Lets see if this works.

Did you test both sticks at the same time? or each one on their own?

I had a problem where some ram would go nuts in dual channel mode, but fine in single.

Both at the same time. Should I stress them one at a time then? If so, which slot should the stick be in??
Not had time at moment as I'm quite busy with my 93 year old dad.

Does this look OK to you. Its the CPU reading.

Operating Points
CPU HFM (Maximum): 3000.0 MHz = 15.00 x 200.0 MHz @ 1.4000 V
CPU Current: 3014.0 MHz = 15.00 x 200.9 MHz @ 1.3500 V

Thanks.

Does anyone prefer I start a new thred or continue in this one.

Whatever it be, here are my results from Prime 95

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

Does this mean that my CPU is running at wrong settings or that it is Breaking Down like me :) NOT Overclocked either..After 1 n half years trying to find what's giving me BSODs it looks like my CPU.
Everyrhing I buy from Overclockers something fails after a while. I got an old KG-Lite I gave to a friend still going strong.
A little help on this would be appreciated. THANKS

Anyone---No one! Are you alive out there???
This problem is doing my head in. cheers.

How long is the warranty on Ram. How do you go about swapping if it's still under warranty.

There's a lifetime warranty with corsair. You'll need to fill out the Rma form on their site and get it posted off to their branch? located in holland iirc.
