Ram problem

About 18 months ago I purchased a matched pair of twinmos DDR400 Ram from OCUK and ran it with the system in the spec below with no problems. However I have since upgraded to an A64 3200+ on a Foxconn WinFast 6150K8MA-8EKRS mainboard using the same ram. When I first put it all together the system wouldn't post and would just beep at me constantly. So I removed one of the sticks of ram and the system posted ok. I then dropped the speed of the ram to 266 in the bios and reinserted the second stick and the system booted ok, but a few days later the system crashed and now will not post with that faulty stick of ram at any speed.

Anyway what I want to know is could running the ram underclocked with the below spec have damaged the ram and secondly I understand that Twinmos ram has a lifetime warranty but given the amount of time that has passed since I purchased them who will honour the warranty? OCUK or will have to send it direct to the manufacturer.
Any help would be much apreciated

Call OCUK and ask them. Maybe you can trade them in for a discount on a 1 or 2 gig set (as that is the most obvious upgrade unless you are still using that Ti4200 as well).

I suspect though that they will refer you to the manufacturer, but you might still have luck negotiating with them.
