Ram problem

Hi me again

Got my new build working but my ram keeps going up to 100% usage on vista randomly, forcing me to reboot.

I have 4gb of DDR3 1600mhz corsair dominator ram. Its running on a board that only supports 1600mhz if you OC it, i had left it @ the default setting to this point, thinking it'd set itself to 1333mhz automatically.

i have just gone into bios and set it manually to 1333mhz, could this have been the problem?

Reset the BIOS default.

disable all startup app using msconfig.

Run the chkdsk c:/r/v command to check HDD error.

Downloading at the moment so ill try in a bit. It seems fine so far though now ive changed it to 1333.
