Hi, ok bit of a story here..
I had a PSU die on me a couple weeks back, (Leadex Superflower platinum). It's now been replaced under RMA.
I have had to re-flash the motherboard bios as the ethernet had stopped working.
Generally the PC works, but just doesnt seem as stable as it was. I have everything in bios set to default except XMP for the ram. Its a 2133 mhz Teamroup 16gb kit.
I've been getting a few BSOD's esspecially at startup. Restarting the PC usually works fine with no other action.
I decided to run windows memtest this morning (I'm on windows 8.1 by the way)
It seems to get stuck at 21% complete so i go to the options page, and when exit back to the 'normal' page this is what I see -
Its just stuck there now.
Am i right in thinking this is probably either a memory issue or a memory controller issue with the motherboard? or even the CPU
Could either or both of these have been damaged by the PSU dieing?
Motherboard is a Z87X-oc, CPU is 4770k
I'm guessing I need to try the memory in different slots on the motherboard?
Any suggestions on what else I can try to diagnose the fault?
