RAM query...

Hi,

Just recieved my 1g of Geil Ram 2x 512mb....

when I install it there is only 960mb ram being detected...however when I put it in another computer 1024mb ram is detected...

the pc detecting only 960mb ram specs are:

asus a8n vm csm skt 939
amd 3200

do I have enable something in bios?

please help

Do you have onboard GFX and sound and stuff?

64MB of your ram is being used for the onboard graphics. You can adjust how much ram you allow the onboard GPU to use in the bios. Or even better, buy a graphics card.
