I just noticed something with my ram . I have 2 identical pairs of Team group 8 pack edition 16GB 3600mhz installed on my ASrockx570 Tiachi. CPU-z is reporting them as single ranked. which is strange?

Did you put them into the same channel DIMM slots accidentally? Check manual to make sure you have right slots in use.

Bah, misread you having 1 pair, not 2 pairs. My bad.

Single Ranked in that case is about the DIMM Modules themselves, as they could be Dual Ranked as well. Shouldn't be anything strange there.

:: further edit for clarification ::
DIMM Modules can be Single or Dual Ranked (which is what you're reading about your DIMM right now. This is different from Single or Dual "Channel" which is what the memory channel is running at. So you can have (in theory) Dual "Channel" for Memory that is made up of Dual "Rank" DIMMS (so x4 in this motherboards case). Or you could have Dual "Channel" for Memory that is made up of Single "Rank" DIMMs too. So long as they are all seen by the system, there's nothing to be concerned about there.
Hi. I have 2 pairs of dual channel (4 sticks) but looking at the reported serial numbers i have put one pair in slot 1 and 2 and the other pair in slot 3 and 4. Which is probably the problem
Funny thing is it has been like that for over a year since i added the other 16 GB ram, and have not noticed any performance hit.

Edit.... Just checked the sticks they are single ranked. Its my tired holiday brain
